As of 20th May, 2022, 31 provinces and cities have issued several e-cigarette retail licenses in the regions. The e-cigarette retailer license nationally planned in China is 48,740 in total now.
Jiangsu province ranked 1st with 5,057 licenses, Guangdong (excluding Shenzhen) ranked 2nd with 4,036, Henan took the 3rd with 3,532, and Tibet last-placed with 115.
33 provincial-level provinces and cities have been announced by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration(STMA) included in the statistics’ scope, including Shenzhen and Dalian(2 separately listed), and still, 2 provinces and cities haven’t disclosed the detail retailer licenses number.
As the regional industrial cluster city, Shenzhen owned 1,172 administrative licenses, which is much more over several provinces in China.
